Privacy Policy

The Short Version

London Museums collects as little as it can get away with. There is no account system, no newsletter, no login, and nothing for you to sign up to. The site does not sell data, because it has almost none to sell and no interest in the trade.

Analytics

The site uses basic analytics to see which pages are read. This tells the writer which museum guides are useful and which questions people actually ask. The analytics cover things like page views, the country a visitor comes from, and the page that brought them here. The site does not build profiles of individual visitors, does not track anyone across other websites, and does not try to identify you.

Affiliate Cookies

Some links on the site go to booking platforms. Those platforms, like GetYourGuide, Viator, Tiqets and GuruWalk, set their own cookies when you click through, so they can tell which referred visitor placed which booking and pay the site its commission. That tracking happens on the platform's side, under the platform's own privacy policy. If you would rather avoid it, book directly with the museum instead. Every listing that shows a booking link also names the museum, so finding its official site is not hard.

The site itself sets no advertising cookies, runs no advertising network pixels, and does no retargeting. If you have ever been followed around the internet by a pair of shoes, that did not come from here.
